I like it for its#39; dark, thick, quot;Cul du Sacquot; sychology but it is certainly not for everyone for that very reason. Set in isolated, rural France makes this film all the more deserate.br\　　The film is about strenuous relationshis, loyalty - and desair. It is about acceting hardshis without really understanding them. It is also about ity and how it is to be distinguished from love and admiration. I#39;ve seen many French films with the same intensity and I#39;m guessing that it will be mostly the French who will enjoy this film.br\　　The acting is suerb in this film – if you#39;re in the right state of mind and don#39;t loose your concentration. Jean-François Stevenin ALWAYS imresses me. He doesn#39;t disaoint me here either. For general audiences, however, I#39;d recommend his erformance in quot;Deux Lions au Soleilquot; which is much more easily alatable than quot;Peux de Vachesquot;.br\　　Desite the fact that I like quot;Peux de Vachesquot;, I have difficulties recommending it to anyone other than French audiences and erhas someone with a morose demeanor.
